Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1591.20/week - Job Summary: Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, 24/7 trauma environment, stabilizing and treating acute medical and traumatic conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure rapid assessment and intervention for critically ill patients. Responsibilities: Assess patients' conditions promptly upon arrival and prioritize care needs. Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Adhere to facility policies regarding infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality. Qualifications: Current Texas RN license required; temporary licenses not accepted. Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience. Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications. Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records system preferred. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
