Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Minneapolis, MN Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Minneapolis, MN Service Setting: Inpatient, Hospital Coverage Type: Call Coverage Period: Jul 13, 2026 – Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts (7a-7a); 12-hour shifts also available Call Type: In-House PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult females (obstetric patients) Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 11-12 deliveries per day Case Mix: High‑risk obstetrics, MFM patients, no GYN FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic (Excellian) and Obix Specialty Backup Available: Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, emergency temporary privileges available Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: MN license highly preferred; Universal License (IMLC) required Board: Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Certifications: BLS Experience: Trauma Level I or II experience required Other Qualifications: Open to generalists with interest in high‑risk obstetrics; no resident supervision DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide OB hospitalist coverage for high‑risk pregnancies and MFM service patients Assist other OB providers with cesarean sections and obstetrical procedures Respond to urgent OB needs and emergencies on the labor and delivery unit Cover undoctored/unassigned OB patients at Abbott Northwestern and other facilities as needed Collaborate with maternal‑fetal medicine specialists and CNMs for comprehensive care
