Job Type W2 Contract Job Dates Job Start Date: 1/5/26 Job End Date: 2/6/26 Shift Time 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Location Shafter, CA Job Description The Shafter Shingle plant urgently needs 6 to 8 General Labor temps for approximately three weeks. The CW's will be opening bundles of shingles for forklift operators to collect. CW's will not be operating forklifts. Responsibilities Production Operator performs work that is required to manufacture shingle products, along with related safety, housekeeping, shut down, cleanup, startup, and maintenance work. Key roles include: Work safely, avoiding at-risk behaviors at all times. Use standard procedures and technical training to operate equipment and machinery to manufacture product that meets specifications. Troubleshoot manufacturing problems. Rotate jobs in assigned or selected job area (Process or Packaging). Train other operators when required to increase overall performance of the team. When serving as a trainer and in association with the Team Leader, recommend trainee qualification to the Production Supervisor. Perform machine maintenance tasks as assigned.
