About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Alliances to spearhead the growth of its Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO) business. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing strategic partnerships with medical device OEMs, focusing on outsourced product development, manufacturing, and commercialization solutions. This executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing strategic accounts. A consultative sales approach, executive-level relationship management, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling complex CDMO services within the medical device industry and a strong understanding of the unique challenges associated with regenerative medicine, tissue-based products, biomaterials, and implantable medical devices. Applicants for the Senior Director position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced technical degree preferred, and have at least 10 years of commercial leadership experience in the medical device industry. A minimum of 5 years in business development, strategic alliances, or key account management, specifically in the CDMO sector, is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in the medical device product development lifecycle, including design transfer, process development, and commercialization. Proficiency in negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing sales cycles with multiple stakeholders is also necessary. The company values candidates with experience in regenerative medicine, tissue-based medical devices, and related areas, and those with a background in commercializing advanced medical device manufacturing solutions are particularly encouraged to apply.
