Your Daily Tasks

• Scope and architect features independently while collaborating with the team to deliver solutions on time.
• Maintain the highest quality and coding standards across the codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop integrations with external ad networks.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to elevate code quality across the team.
• Test, deploy, and support new products and features.

The Qualifications We Seek

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time backend development experience using object-oriented PHP and Laravel, preferably in a high-growth startup.
• Expert-level proficiency in Laravel or Symfony, with a proven track record of building and deploying multiple large-scale applications.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
• Proficiency in PHPUnit or Pest, with Test-Driven Development (TDD) as a core development practice.
• Experience developing well-documented APIs, third-party integrations, and SDKs using PHP best practices.
• Working knowledge of Docker for creating containerized development environments and supporting application deployments.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Intermediate proficiency in ReactJS.
• Expertise in Elasticsearch.
• Experience managing infrastructure across AWS services, including ECS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS, logging, and performance monitoring.
• Experience in application performance monitoring and optimization.
• Proven success mentoring and developing software engineers.
