Packaging Operator

Packaging OperatorPackaging Operators work closely with the Packaging Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure that seed packages are labeled legibly and accurately according to customer instructions. Other essential job functions may include but not limited to:Performing work activities safelyApplication of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages as applicableAccurate bagged seed inventory countsLifting and stacking materials up to 65 lbs.Standing to fill and close packaged product for extended periods of timeSuccessfully pass the forklift training and receive an operators certificateSafely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipmentThorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrityAssist with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management SystemMaintaining a neat, clean, and organized work areaJob Type: Full-timeRequirements:Agricultural background is beneficialComputer skills beneficial, advanced skills preferredUnderstanding of seed production is beneficialExcellent communications skills with positive attitudeEmployee team building skillsAttentive to detail and accuracyWell organizedShow up on time and be dependableRemington Seeds is an equal opportunity employer Remington Seeds
