Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides acute emergency care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Ensures patient safety, prioritizes care, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for emergency department patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per protocol and physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, certifications, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to facilitate efficient patient flow.

Qualifications:

• Valid active compact RN license required at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital emergency department preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
• Previous experience in an FSED environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, think critically, and adapt to fast-changing situations.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
