Position Summary First Responders are responsible for providing medical care at the highest degree allowable within the limits for the certification held. This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.50 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline. About the Venue The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center features a 12,500-seat arena, 34 luxury suites, 476 club seats, over 54,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space and an arena view restaurant, the Spotlight Grille. The arena is home to Florida State Men's and Women's basketball and is known for its electric atmosphere and fierce home court advantage. Not only a music and sports venue, the arena also is frequently used for trade shows, large catered functions, receptions, religious services, and classes. Responsibilities * Exhibit all conduct in accordance with OVG policies and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations. * Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. * Provide emergency medical care within limits of certification. * Complete thorough documentation of all medical skills. * Disinfect and maintain cleanliness of EMS equipment, supplies and treatment areas. * Assist in coordination of emergency situations. * Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and staff. * Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic. * Perform other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience * High School diploma or equivalent required; * Minimum of one (1) year of appropriate medical service experience is preferred; * Must obtain Medical Response Technician certification through the appropriate agency; * Must be CPR and AED certified. Skills and Abilities * Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. * Excellent verbal communication skills are required. * The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. * Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals.
