Position Details As a full-time Post-Op Nurse Tech, you will work Monday - Friday, 9a - 5:30p. This position qualifies for our full-time benefits package as well as our rewarding discretionary quarterly bonuses! Responsibilities The Nurse Technician holds a safety sensitive position and is a competent paraprofessional which assists the registered nurses by assuming responsibility and accountability for direct and indirect patient care. He/she may assist with activities, personal care, comfort measures, maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and certain test/procedures done to a specific patient population (dependent on area) under the direction and supervision of a RN. Supports the nursing and medical staff in an effort to provide optimum patient outcomes. Qualifications What’s required of you? High school graduate or equivalent. Basic Life Support certification prior to start date, or class to be taken at OSH within 60 days free of charge. No Experience Required Do I need experience? No experience required! Skill Set Specialty Knowledge Skills: Cognitive, technical and interpersonal skills required to deliver direct and indirect care under the direction of a RN. Cooperation and strong “team” focus required. Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current caregiver practices, which are unit/age specific. Benefits Still interested?
