Police Officer Trainee

Police Officer Trainee Opportunity to train and become a sworn Police Officer in the Concord Police Department after completing a POST‑approved Police Academy. The trainee position is a temporary, at‑will role with mandatory benefits required by law. Upon successful completion of the academy, trainees are promoted to a full‑time Police Officer with the full salary and benefits package. About the Role As a trainee you will attend a POST‑approved Police Academy. Success on the POST‑approved written examination and academy training is required for employment. The training lasts six months, after which you will be appointed to a Police Officer position and begin an 18‑month probation period.
