Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide all design engineering drawings and documents as related to customer orders, support manufacturing efforts and provide customer support on all products of the Critical Power Solutions Division
• Oversee the preparation of all technical documents (ex. drawings, purchasing specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Instruction Book (IBs), etc.) required to support order placements, manufacturing/assembly operations, customer needs and prepare design direction and clarification as required to other Engineering personnel
• Intermediate knowledge of power electronics and power and energy systems including converters and inverters
• Experience with performing measurement, testing, and troubleshooting of high-power equipment in laboratory or field environments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 3 years’ of experience in a design engineering capacity, or equivalent education and experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of power electronics and power and energy systems including converters and invertors.
• Experience with performing measurement, testing, and troubleshooting of high-power equipment in laboratory or field environments.
• Experience with reading, understanding and creating technical drawings and material.
• Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on MS Office products, CAD and engineering analysis software.
