Residential Part-Time IDD Care

What we need: Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC. What You'll Do: Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking. Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene. Provide community recreational activities when available. Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities. Documentation of activities. Dispense medication and monitor dosages. Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van. Qualifications: Willingness to help others At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable. A valid Driver's license A High School Diploma Job Type: Part-time Hours: up to 29 hours per week Rate: $15.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-2pm Location: Charlotte, NC 28212 Partnership Discounts with Local Businesses.
