Director, Patient Advocacy & Engagement

Cogent Biosciences seeks a Director of Patient Advocacy & Engagement to develop and execute strategic initiatives for its Systemic Mastocytosis programs. The role involves building partnerships with patient advocacy groups, conducting patient engagement activities, and integrating patient insights into company operations and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen long-term partnerships with Systemic Mastocytosis patient advocacy groups globally
• Develop and execute annual strategic patient advocacy plan supporting program development and commercial launches
• Design and deliver patient-facing educational initiatives to increase disease and program awareness
• Conduct virtual and in-person patient advisory boards to gather insights for cross-functional initiatives
• Oversee vendors executing patient advocacy initiatives including webinars, videos, and awareness campaigns

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining strategic partnerships with patient advocacy organizations
• Demonstrated expertise in patient engagement strategy and execution
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across medical, commercial, and regulatory teams
• Experience managing vendor relationships and patient-focused initiatives
• Proficiency in gathering and translating patient insights into actionable strategies
• Knowledge of rare disease communities or oncology patient landscapes preferred
