Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) with some weekends required, approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month.

Job Description

The Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist will work with a pediatric population to provide evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires experience with various pediatric diagnoses and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and therapy modalities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience.
• Must possess a valid AK Physical Therapist License.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with pediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and spinal cord injuries is essential.
