Core Real Estate Associate, Southampton

Position Summary Our market‑leading Real Estate practice generates key sector knowledge, unparalleled technical ability and a commercial focus, placing us at number one overall in real estate disciplines. The Southampton office partners with London and Manchester to provide deep real estate capability across the sector. You will work on complex, high‑value transactions in a flexible, fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide advice on a broad portfolio of asset management work, managing your own matters as part of client teams at a level suitable to your experience. Work on sales, purchases and financings with appropriate supervision and training, often as part of a team. Draft and negotiate documents to ensure they meet client requirements. Advise clients to protect their interests and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Participate in key client teams with colleagues across other BCLP offices. Develop client relationships, working with private equity funds, property companies and annuity clients such as the Crown Estate, Aviva Investors and Great Portland Estates. Engage in development transactions from brownfield acquisition to town centre regeneration projects. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1 PQE. Solid commercial real‑estate experience appropriate to your experience level. Analytical and drafting skills with a desire to deliver high‑quality legal service. Flexibility and adaptability, managing work proactively. Ability to manage time and priorities in a high‑paced environment. Commercial focus with knowledge of key legal areas and ability to provide clear, concise, practical advice. Willingness to learn and grow the legal skills and knowledge set above within a supportive team environment.
