Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of busy OR experience and Epic EMR proficiency. Details Position is in a hospital OR setting within a high-volume surgical department Performs a variety of surgeries including open heart, medical, and orthopedic procedures Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 15:15 with rotating weekends and holiday coverage On-call required: one night every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks Epic EMR is used and experience is required Requirements Minimum 2 years of operating room experience in a busy OR environment BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross Epic EMR proficiency required Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required if applicable Additional Information All agency staff are required to participate in on-call coverage as scheduled The surgical department handles a wide range of complex cases, including cardiovascular and orthopedic surgeries Must be able to work extended hours based on surgical caseload Team-oriented environment with expectations for flexibility during high-volume periods Rotating weekends and holiday participation is mandatory Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
