Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in the northwest region of Florida, specifically in a designated facility in Margate. This role involves supporting a busy cardiology department that performs advanced procedures such as cardiac catheters, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, balloons, and procedures in the ENT Lab. The position offers day shift hours and requires a skilled and team-oriented professional to provide patient care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details: Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Competence in performing special procedures and familiarity with GE Innova equipment is essential. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with Radiologic Cardiac Interventional Specialist (RCIS) credential will be prioritized. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: The unit has 4 rooms with one patient per room, staffed by 22 professionals including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Technicians. Typical procedures include cardiac catheterizations, cerebella angiograms, stent placements, balloons, and ENT Lab scrubbing. The environment emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and critical thinking. Dress code includes unit scrubs, with specific color requirements (most notably red and gray in Cath and EP labs). The department is part of a 228-bed facility recognized as a top performer and certified primary stroke center, with extensive services including open-heart surgery, ER, orthopedics, robotics, women's services, and rehabilitation.
