Senior Technology Training Specialist

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Training Specialist in Annapolis, MD! Must Have Primary Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. 5+ years of experience as a technology trainer working with proprietary and/or advanced commercial software. 3+ years of experience developing technical documentation. Experience developing and delivering in-person instructor‑led training. Experience delivering customer training using adult learning principles. Experience creating technical training materials and instructional content. Experience managing training projects from initiation through completion. Strong experience with Microsoft productivity and collaboration applications, including: Microsoft Teams Microsoft Copilot OneNote SharePoint Microsoft Office applications Experience with training and instructional‑content development tools such as: Camtasia Articulate 360 Vyond Similar e-learning, video, and instructional design platforms Nice To Have Secondary Skills Ability to organize priorities and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to coordinate effectively across resources and stakeholder groups. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting capabilities. Proven Experience In Strong instructional design and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop clear technical documentation for users with varying levels of technical expertise. Strong customer‑service skills when working with internal and external subject matter experts. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and deliver hands‑on, instructor‑led technology training for commercial and proprietary software applications. Develop technical documentation, including Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, web‑based content, and other user support materials. Create training videos, recorded instruction, and interactive learning modules. Apply adult learning principles when delivering training to individuals and groups. Manage training projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality outcomes. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions. Track assignments, project plans, status, deliverables, and deadlines. Identify and troubleshoot user challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Coordinate multiple concurrent training initiatives, resources, and stakeholders.
