This role is situated at our organization’s medical facility in Fort Bragg, NC.

Named in honor of Medal of Honor recipient PFC Bryant H. Womack, we are a fully accredited 110-bed regional medical center and Graduate Medical Education (GME) facility. We serve Fort Bragg, the largest U.S. Army installation globally and home to Airborne and Special Operations. Our organization operates several excellent Primary Care practice locations in Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Linden Oaks.

Located in Fayetteville, Fort Bragg is just two hours from the coast and five hours from the Appalachian Mountains, with convenient access to I-95 for travel north and south. This central North Carolina area enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year. The region boasts numerous amenities, including premier golf courses, esteemed universities, a skeet range, horseback riding facilities, an ice skating rink, modern fitness centers, daycare services, high-quality dining options, full-service banking, convenience stores, barbershops, and florists.

Responsibilities

As an Internal Medicine Physician, your duties will include:

  • Delivering initial, ongoing, and comprehensive primary care to patients in accordance with current care standards, the patient-centered medical home model, Army policies, and applicable regulations.

  • Providing long-term, comprehensive management of both common and complex medical conditions.

  • Engaging in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and participating in quality assurance initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

Must hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine.

Possession of a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a U.S. or Canadian institution accredited by a recognized body at the time of graduation is required. Alternatively, a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school may be accepted if it demonstrates education and medical knowledge comparable to accredited U.S. institutions, as evidenced by permanent certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or a fifth pathway certificate for U.S. citizens who completed premedical education domestically and graduate education abroad.

A permanent, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory is mandatory.
