Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting intake assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and diagnoses.

• Designing and implementing tailored therapy plans based on clients' unique conditions and circumstances.

• Providing regular sessions to clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques aimed at fostering recovery and resilience.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans through electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Staying updated on mental health best practices and participating in regular team meetings to discuss client care and outcomes.

• Offering referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or specialized therapists, when necessary to ensure holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Our clinic emphasizes cultural competence; thus, you will be expected to utilize inclusive approaches in your therapeutic practices. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a professional mental health setting.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on building relationships with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, new hires are welcomed with a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our benefits package includes:
