Patient Care Technician

Role Overview This position involves providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, ultrasounds, blood glucose checks, specimen collection, and assisting with bathing, feeding, and mobility. Additionally, the role supports patient admissions, discharges, care planning, and ensures a safe, comfortable environment through hourly rounding and safety protocols.
