Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to process invoices, maintain vendor records, and support day-to-day accounting operations. This role also assists with basic accounting functions, including reconciliations and journal entries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within an accounting environment. Key Responsibilities Process and code vendor invoices for payment Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and vendor inquiries Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation Support month‑end close activities and account reconciliations Prepare basic journal entries and assist with general accounting tasks Perform data entry and other administrative accounting duties as needed Requirements 1–3 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
