Serasa Experian is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join its Fraud Prevention team, focusing on biometrics, liveness detection, and device intelligence. The role involves supporting analytical solutions from data extraction to model deployment, collaborating with technical teams, and enhancing autonomy throughout the journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support data extraction, organization, and analysis from various sources for fraud prevention studies.
• Contribute to data preparation and feature engineering for analytical model development.
• Participate in the development, training, validation, and evolution of machine learning models.
• Assist in deploying models to experimentation or production environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business problems into practical analyses and solutions.
• Help structure and maintain data pipelines supporting model lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for improving data processes and analytical approaches.

Required skills and qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Experience with data preparation, analytical exploration, and feature engineering.
• Interest in the full model development lifecycle, from analysis to deployment.
• Strong foundation in data engineering or a desire to develop this skill set.
