Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Pay Range : $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week with a flexible schedule
P•A•S Associates is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our HR consulting and training team. With flexible scheduling, this position is an excellent opportunity for a college student pursuing a degree or career in Human Resources who would like to gain practical, hands-on experience in an HR consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls professionally, take accurate messages, and direct inquiries appropriately.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR team and training instructors.
Maintain training calendars and assist with scheduling on-site and off-site training sessions.
Prepare training materials, handouts, employee policy handbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and classroom supplies.
Create and maintain online registration links, training flyers, brochures, and promotional materials.
Send training confirmations, reminders, and other client communications in a timely manner.
Assist with recruitment-related administrative tasks.
Create and schedule marketing and social media content.
Prepare and revise client correspondence using proper grammar and professional formatting.
Assist clients with questions in a friendly, responsive, and professional manner.
Perform general office duties, including data entry, scanning, copying, printing, and organizing documents.
Provide oral and written communication in both English and Spanish when needed.
Complete additional administrative projects and support duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework is preferred.
College coursework in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in an office environment.
At least one year of clerical, administrative, or data-entry experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to type at least 35 words per minute.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Professional telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, and tact when handling confidential or sensitive information.
Ability to work independently while also following direction and collaborating with the team.
