Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a CA RN license, at least 2 years of PACU experience, and the ability to float across campus locations.

Details

• Hospital-based PACU setting
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 26-week contract
• Must be available to float to preop and extended care units
• Must be willing and able to float to other campus locations as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• Proficiency in airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management required
• CCRN or CPAN certification preferred
• 2 years of critical care experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include post-anesthesia recovery care, airway management, and pain management
• May be assigned to preop and extended care units in addition to PACU
