Laundry Production Associate

M & F Laundry – Commercial Laundry Facility M & F Laundry is hiring dependable Production Associates for our commercial laundry facility. This is a fast-paced, physically active role in a high-volume industrial environment servicing hotel and hospitality accounts. We are looking for individuals who show up, move with urgency, and take pride in quality work. Departments & Responsibilities Soil Sorting / Washing Sort soiled hotel laundry from conveyor into designated sorting stations Separate items by linen type, soil level, color, and processing requirements Load sorted items into carts, washers, or designated staging areas Identify damaged, stained, or heavily soiled items for special handling Maintain a steady production pace in a high-volume industrial laundry environment Meet daily production and quality standards while maintaining workflow efficiency Follow proper washing standards, load limits, and workflow procedures Handle wet and soiled linens in accordance with company sanitation and safety standards Keep sorting and washing areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all safety, sanitation, and PPE procedures at all times Ironing Operate industrial ironing and pressing equipment Feed linens into machines accurately and efficiently Inspect finished items for wrinkles, stains, tears, or damage Maintain consistent production quality and workflow speed Stack, organize, and prepare finished linens for distribution or packaging Keep ironing stations clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE when operating industrial equipment Towel Folding Feed towels and linen items into automated towel folding equipment correctly to ensure proper folds and presentation Inspect items for cleanliness, stains, tears, and overall quality Count, stack, and organize finished items into designated carts accurately Maintain workflow pace in a high-volume production environment Monitor folding equipment and report jams or mechanical issues to supervisors Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE around moving equipment Dry Cleaning Process garments using industrial dry cleaning equipment and approved procedures Spot treat garments and linens for stains using proper cleaning techniques Tag, inspect, sort, and organize customer items accurately Identify fabric types, stains, and garment care requirements before processing Press, finish, and prepare garments to company quality standards Inspect finished garments for stains, damage, or quality issues before packaging Maintain clean and organized dry cleaning and finishing areas Follow all garment care, chemical handling, and workplace safety procedures at all times Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and equipment Schedule Full-time and part-time shifts available Overtime may be available based on production needs What We Offer Paid Sick Leave in accordance with California law Paid training and onboarding support Supportive, team-focused work environment Clear paths for growth and advancement within the company M & F Laundry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
