TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78411!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: Required Certifications Description: Responsible for the care of medical/surgical patients. Collect data and perform assessments. Care for 4-6 patients at a time. Perform standard nursing skills, including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, central line maintenance, and medication administration. Communicate effectively with all members of the care team. Document in the electronic health record. Teamwork and collaboration with fellow staff members is essential. Friendly, positive, patient-centered personality is preferred. Preferred experience includes 2+ years in acute med/surg within the last year, with a background in ortho or neuro-surgery. Candidates without acute med/surg experience within the last year will not be considered for the role. Standard patient ratios are a maximum of 6:1. Rotate weekends as needed.
