Entry-Level Accountant

Accountant position responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of a robust accounting record system, and implementation of controls and budgets that mitigate risk, enhance accuracy of financial results, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Key Responsibilities Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation. Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions. Enter AP bills and credit card transactions, if needed. Perform month‑end closing and reconciliation. Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information. Perform bank reconciliation. Support department peers as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 1–2 years of accrual‑basis accounting experience, including accounts receivable, journal entries, month‑end closing, and bank reconciliation. Regular and reliable attendance is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage projects. Detail‑oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, organized, able to prioritize, and work independently. Exceptionally self‑motivated and directed.
