This role involves working with post-surgical patients, focusing on orthopedics and general surgery, along with neuro populations. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• EPIC experience is a bonus
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
