RN - Observation Unit

Position Overview This role involves providing acute care on a 35-bed Observation Unit, caring for patients with diverse conditions such as cardiac, general surgery, and behavioral health. The unit promotes a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with close collaboration among healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Perform nursing duties including assessments, developing and modifying care plans, administering interventions, and documenting care accurately. Ensure patient and staff safety, communicate effectively, and participate in ongoing professional development. Manage IV sites, start IVs, and adhere to safety and documentation standards. Qualifications Valid RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Skills include equipment handling such as Foley, IV, NG insertions, telemetry monitoring, and patient connection.
