Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Experience in inpatient, home health, assisted living, skilled nursing facility, long term care, and outpatient settings
• Ability to perform PT evaluations and treatments in ER, ICU, Med/Surg, SNF, and outpatient environments

Assignment Details

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.
• Flexibility with work hours may be required.
• Saturday availability is required.

Location Highlights

Waimea on Kauai‘s west side offers access to both coastal scenery and mountain landscapes. Waimea is about 1 mile from the Captain James Cook Monument and roughly 15 miles from Waimea Canyon State Park, a major hiking and sightseeing destination. Kekaha Beach Park is about 8 miles west for ocean views and shoreline recreation, while Polihale State Park is approximately 20 miles away and known for long stretches of sand and sunset views. Lihue Airport is about 27 miles east, and the area offers a quieter island setting with access to small-town dining, local markets, and outdoor activities.
