Description: Shift times will vary depending on case load for the day. The earliest start time is 6 AM and may work until 6 PM. Typically, it is a 10-hour day, 4 days a week. Experience in gastrointestinal procedures is preferred. The unit has 7 operating rooms and 1 exam treatment room, staffed by 45 personnel. Patient ratios are 2:1 in PACU and 1:1 in pre-op. Type of equipment is case-dependent. EMR system is not utilized. Typical procedures include plastics, urology, eyes, and gastrointestinal surgeries. Candidates with flexibility and a positive attitude are preferred. Required certifications include BLS for Surgical Technologist and ACLS for Registered Nurse. There are no weekend or on-call requirements.
