Sales Coordinator

Shamin Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our Sales & Events team at the Sheraton Oceanfront in Virginia Beach. This role is the connective tissue between our sales managers, event managers, and the clients and guests who rely on us to get it right.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls and inquiries, directing leads to the appropriate Sales or Events Manager
• Provide administrative and on-the-floor support to Sales and Events Managers as needed
• Generate group resumes and BEOs (banquet event orders) if requested
• Respond to client emails regarding bookings and group needs
• Assist with managing group room blocks as requested
• Anticipate the needs of guests and team members, solving problems creatively and proactively

What You Bring

• Experience in hotels or guest services
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Suite and multi-line phone systems
• Experience with a booking/PMS system required; LightSpeed PMS, Marriott brand systems, and CI/TY experience strongly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and strong autonomous task execution
• A proactive, service-first mindset

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotels or guest services required
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Suite and multi-line phone systems required
• Experience with a booking/PMS system required; LightSpeed PMS, Marriott brand systems, and CI/TY experience strongly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to execute tasks autonomously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
