BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a skilled and experienced Human Capital Consultant. This position supports our client's work with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), where our client delivers financial management, cost accounting, and finance transformation support alongside the prime contractor. The role is a new addition to the engagement's staffing mix, is remote, and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

What will you do

Serve as the human capital consultant on the DCSA team, working across one or more human capital domains such as employee experience and engagement, workforce development, competencies and skills frameworks, workforce assessment, and organizational design. You will facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, including recurring touchpoints, working sessions, and briefings; plan and execute in-person and virtual events, including developing communications, coordinating logistics, and supporting implementation; and build visually compelling, high-quality slides that carry the storyline and the insight. A meaningful share of the work is analytical, working with data sets, conducting analyses, identifying trends, and drawing conclusions leadership can act on. Human capital experience within a financial management organization is ideal. A strong general human capital consultant will be supported on the financial management subject matter by the broader team.

Responsibilities:

• Support one or more human capital domains on the DCSA engagement, including employee experience and engagement, workforce development, competencies and skills frameworks, workforce assessment, and organizational design.
  
• Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, including recurring touchpoints, working sessions, and briefings.
  
• Plan and execute both in-person and virtual events, including developing communications, coordinating logistics, and supporting implementation.
  
• Create visually compelling, high-quality slides that support storytelling and insights for client and leadership audiences.
  
• Work with data sets, conduct analyses, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  
• Build and maintain dashboards or data visualizations that make workforce data usable for decision making.
  
• Coordinate with the prime contractor's team and the client's functional leads to keep deliverables on schedule and consistent with engagement standards.
  
• Maintain the active Top Secret clearance and security posture the program requires.
  

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
  
• Experience at the Associate (Experienced) consultant level, typically four (4) or more years of consulting or human capital experience.
  
• Experience with one or more human capital domains; for example: employee experience/engagement ; workforce development (e.g., career development, professional development); competencies and skills frameworks; workforce assessment; organizational design.
  
• Proven ability to effectively facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, including recurring touchpoints, working sessions, and briefings.
  
• Experience planning and executing both in-person and virtual events, including developing communications, coordinating logistics, and supporting implementation.
  
• Skilled in creating visually compelling, high-quality slides that support storytelling and insights.
  
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  
• Experience working with data sets, conducting analyses, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful conclusions.
  
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, business, public administration, or a related field.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, cleared federal engagement.
  

Desired Skills

• Human capital experience within a federal financial management or CFO organization.
  
• Familiarity with dashboards or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  
• Experience on a DoD or Intelligence Community program.
  
• Experience supporting workforce transformation or large-scale organizational change initiatives.
  
• Experience developing competency models or skills frameworks for a federal workforce.
  
• Experience working as a subcontractor on a prime-led federal advisory engagement.
  
• Advanced degree (MBA, MPA, MS in Human Resources, MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or similar).
