Connections Associate Director

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO) Culture & Team Ownership: You are part of a team taking ownership and responsibility for the care and keeping of this house. Model Victory Church values in leadership, collaboration, and care for people.Connections Leadership & Strategy: Help provide day‑to‑day leadership and strategic oversight of the Connections ministry for the campus. Partner with the Connections Director to execute vision, goals, and ministry rhythms. Evaluate, refine, and improve Connections systems, processes, and leadership pathways to support ministry growth and health.Leader Development & Care: Recruit, train, coach, and care for Connections Coaches, Leaders and Volunteer Ministry Leaders (VMLs). Facilitate regular touchpoints, coaching conversations, and development gatherings for Coaches and Leaders. Provide relational care to VMLs, Coaches, Leaders addressing challenges with wisdom and discretion.Operations & Execution: Help oversee Connections operations including event registrations, inventory, RMS maintenance, reporting, meeting agendas, training materials, Sunday operations, and the execution and maintenance of ministry standard operating procedures. Help lead the planning and execution of Connections ministry events and leader trainings through general team support and lead facilitation. Collaborate with Central teams for alignment and excellence. Oversee campus‑wide communication related to the Connections Ministry. Support broader campus initiatives and events as assigned by Campus Leadership or Connections Director. Proven experience leading volunteers and developing leaders. Experience overseeing ministry operations, systems, and cross‑functional collaboration. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large audiences.Computer / Software Experience Requirements: Proficient in Mac and Microsoft365 applications. Comfortable learning and managing church management systems, planning tools, and communication platforms.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS An acceptance of, and commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.An understanding of the mission and purpose of Victory Church.Acceptance and agreement of Victory Church's CHECK values and staff commitments.PURPOSE The Associate Director of Connections provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and care for the Connections ministry at the campus level. This role partners closely with the Connections Director, Campus Executive Director, and Central Leadership to help cast vision, develop leaders, and cultivate healthy, sustainable environments where people connect, grow, and serve.The Associate Director is responsible for translating vision into execution, supporting Volunteer Ministry Leaders (VMLs), Coaches, and Leads, strengthening systems and processes, and ensuring alignment with Victory Church's mission, values, and discipleship strategy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
