About the Position

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 9 Months Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 years or more with trauma and stroke experience required License: Current State/District license required Certifications: BLS required, AART required Must-Have: Must live 50 miles away Experience in XR/CT required Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required Ability to operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment Analyzing body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors Positioning the body correctly and reviewing physician orders Obtaining pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs Reducing unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self Assisting physicians during procedures, including room preparation and supplies Managing contrast reactions and codes Scheduling and completing exams and entering correct charge codes Description: This role requires the operation of Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment. Candidates will need to analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors. Positioning the body correctly and reviewing physician orders is essential. Obtaining pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs is also required. Candidates should have the ability to reduce unnecessary radiation exposure to both patients and themselves. Assistance to physicians during procedures, including room preparation and management of supplies, is a key responsibility. Candidates will need to handle contrast reactions and codes effectively. The individual must have the capability to schedule and complete exams while entering correct charge codes.
