Store Manager - Mudslingers Drive-Thru Coffee Position Summary: Compensation & Benefits Pay:$42,000- $47,000/year (commensurate with experience) Pay is based on a 40-hour work week with 2 days off per week; schedule can be flexible. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Store Manager to lead daily operations at our drive-thru coffee shop. In this role, you will lead our barista team, keep service fast and friendly, and ensure every drink meets our quality standards. As a compact drive-thru operation, shift teams typically range from 1 to 3 people. You will be supported by an experienced Shift Leader who will collaborate closely with you and manage operations on your days off. Key Responsibilities Operations & Speed of Service: Oversee day-to-day drive-thru operations, keeping service fast, accurate, and consistently high quality during morning rushes and throughout the day. Team Leadership & Culture: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor baristas. Lead by example on the floor, fostering an encouraging, efficient, and accountability-driven environment. Quality & Consistency: Maintain strict quality control, drink standards, food safety, and cleanliness throughout the shop. Inventory & Ordering: Manage shop inventory, monitor usage, and minimize waste. Customer Experience: Drive customer satisfaction by building strong community relationships and handling customers warmly and professionally. Administrative & Cash Management: Manage weekly staff scheduling, petty safe cash reconciliation, and administrative tasks in Homebase. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 1-2+ years of leadership/management experience in coffee, QSR (quick-service restaurant), drive-thru, or retail food service. Prior barista or coffee shop management experience strongly preferred. Coffee Knowledge: Solid understanding of espresso extractions, milk steaming, and specialty beverage preparation. Skills: Excellent communication, strong time management, problem-solving under pressure, and basic computer proficiency. Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced drive-thru environment, and lift up to 40 lbs. Availability: Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional peak shifts.
