Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12 hour shifts. Weekend coverage required every other weekend, subject to change based on need.

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for triaging patients, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to formulate and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, TNCC.
• Must have at least one year of experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
