We're hiring for a Parts Clerk in Pittsburgh, PA!

Transdev in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a Parts Clerk. The Parts Clerk performs all administrative functions for the location. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. The shift hours available: 7:00am - 3:30 pm and 11:00am - 7:30pm

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $28.21 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Order, receive and stock parts: maintaining inventory

• Working one-on-one with technicians to select parts

• Computer data entry and pulling reports

• Maintaining files and other related records

• Maintaining parts room organization and cleanliness

• Shift flexibility at times to provide coverage

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3-5 years or more of parts or vehicle maintenance experience; heavy-duty and equipment preferred

• Strong data entry skills

• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook email or similar; daily computer use is required as a function of the job.

• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

• The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

• Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level

• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
