Overview As part of the Samuel Research Team (PI: Dr. Raymond E. Samuel, Professor of Biology), the Research Associate will provide support to projects related to quantum computing and Quantum Information Science and Education (QISE) education and workforce development. Responsibilities Provide research support for projects focusing on quantum computing and QISE education and workforce development. Minimum Requirements PhD degree in computer science or electrical engineering Expertise in classical computing Knowledge and interest in quantum computing Effective written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Preferred Experience and Skills Experience with developing machine learning algorithms Experience with processing and analyzing large volumes of data Compensation and Appointment Temporary – Full‑time, $35-42 per hour, Non‑Exempt, Tenure‑Track: No. Equal Opportunity Statement North Carolina A&T State University is an Equal Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
