Mammography Tech

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Mammography - Our client, a small healthcare facility located about 45 mins from Alexandria, VA, has a need for a Mammography Tech to join their team. This is a Day shift position working Tues-Fri 8a-4:30p. They are offering a $15,000 sign on bonus! JOB SUMMARY The Mammography Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and | or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the mammographic equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or GED required. 2 Year|Associate's Degree preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program required. Experience: 1 year of experience in Mammography preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details. Licensure: Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography required. Mammography - RT(R)(M) within 12 months of hire required. Certified and registered by ARRT in Bone Densitometry - RT(R)(M)(BD) preferred.
