Physical Therapist 2 (Per Diem)

The Physical Therapist 2 (Per Diem) is a journey‑level clinician who provides high‑quality, evidence‑based physical therapy services within the JV Rehabilitation Hospital. Reporting to the Director of Therapy, this role delivers skilled evaluation and treatment for patients with a wide range of rehabilitation needs. The PT 2 brings at least two years of licensed clinical experience across multiple care settings, demonstrating strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and adaptability in a fast‑paced interdisciplinary environment. Minimum Qualifications California Licensed Physical Therapist American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR Minimum education satisfied through the attainment of the required licensure/certification 2 or more years of recent clinical experience in the field of Physical Therapy 1 year of experience working with adults Experience with documentation in Electronic Medical Records Must be able to perform all responsibilities of a licensed Physical Therapist as required and assigned by Joint Venture Rehabilitation Hospital Must see well enough to observe patient reactions and read relevant monitors, device settings, and written information such as the patient medical record Written and oral communication skills to clearly and concisely provide information, explanations, and instructions to, and to elicit information from, others with varying levels of ability to understand, including individuals who are ill or distressed, or who may not speak English Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain a friendly, welcoming environment for clinics/department customers;
