DevSecOps Engineer (Azure/AI)

Zaden Technologies seeks a DevSecOps Engineer (Azure/AI) to support secure cloud architecture and AI-enabled services within our defense programs. This engineer will serve as the team's Azure subject matter expert, responsible for IL4/IL5 landing zones and compliant managed service adoption. This position is located onsite at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. Role Responsibilities: Design and implement IL4/IL5-compliant Azure landing zones with comprehensive networking, identity, and logging configurations Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters using GitOps principles with FluxCD and Helm Author and maintain Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure automation Integrate Entra ID and Keycloak for secure access management and authentication Implement AI workloads including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services within secure boundaries Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Cloud SRG IL4/IL5 requirements Provide technical leadership and mentorship on Azure best practices and DevSecOps methodologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship and a security clearance (secret or above) 5+ years of DevSecOps or Cloud engineering experience with Azure focus Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, and policy-based automation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-starter with ability to work independently and drive initiatives Comfortable administering and securing Linux systems Solid understanding of networking principles and cloud security architectures Preferred Qualifications: Experience deploying workloads at DoD IL4/IL5 impact levels Hands-on experience with RHEL and RHEL-based Linux distributions Familiarity with Windows Server administration and automation Azure certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) Experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, or other AI/ML platforms Knowledge of GitOps workflows and tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD) Experience with identity and access management solutions (Entra ID, Keycloak) Understanding of DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) What we offer: Robust startup environment with a variety of projects to work on Growth paths and endless opportunities to learn and develop Paid holidays Employer contributions toward 401k Performance-based bonus and profit-sharing 50% coverage of health insurance for employees and their dependents #J-18808-Ljbffr Zadentech
