LTC Closed Door Pharmacist (Contract-to-Hire) — Fresno, CA (Onsite)

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring an LTC Closed Door Pharmacist for an onsite opportunity in Fresno, CA . This is a contract-to-hire role with 2 openings .

Pay

• $65.75 per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• No weekends
• 40 hours/week

What You’ll Do

• Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, storage, dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify overuse/duplication patterns.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and ensure appropriate management of pharmacy files.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription products.
• Support patient services as applicable (e.g., smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, cholesterol management education).
• Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters).
• Compound medications for internal/external use and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy staff (pharmacy technicians, clerks, etc.).
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Identify medication-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, interns, nurses, and other clinical team members.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pharmacist license in California (in good standing)
• Ability to work onsite in Fresno, CA
• Ability to start in a contingent/contract capacity (contract-to-hire)
