Forklift Driver/ Warehouse AssociateNesco has paired with a company in the North Columbus area who is seeking an exceptional Forklift Driver/ Warehouse Associate to add to its team. As a Forklift Warehouse Associate, you will operate a forklift, pick and select products to place on pallets, package products, load trailers, and must be able to lift material weighing up to 100 pounds (team lift/slide).Hours and Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday- Friday Great Pay: $18/hr.Resume and Interview Receives, stores, packs and distributes plastic material, and products by performing the following duties.Pulls stock and restocks from/to storage locations, removes cut stock from machine and maintains production count.May be required to use computer or bar code scanner to enter records, tracks material and control inventory.Reads sales orders, to determine items to be picked, packed and/or shipped.Forklift has 6-foot forksHandling pallets from 8-14 Ft longManeuvering extremely long pallets in small or tight spacesConveys materials and items from receiving to storage racks or to other designated areas.Performs preventative maintenance and other routine maintenance on equipment as needed or prescribed in work instructions.Drive forklift to transport material throughout the warehouseResponsible for general warehouse housekeeping and safe work habits.Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Team lift (slide) 100 lbs.Qualifications:Handling pallets from 8-14 Ft longExperience extended forks 72 inches and 96 inchesLongevity in driving a Sit-down forklift (a long-time Reach truck driver, is trainable)Longevity in the Shipping and Receiving departmentA stable work historyRF scanner experienceExperience using basic computer programsExperience with maneuverability in small tight spacesThe ability to lift a maximum of 100 pounds (team slide)Awareness of risk and the safety- Take their time- the slightest movement could knock down the shelvesA confident and positive attitude and are a team player!A high school diploma or GEDThis company offers competitive compensation and outstanding employee benefits.
