Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Essential Functions: Set-up and operate various machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, shear, punch, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components and/or assemblies.

Education: High school diploma or GED Blueprint Reading Precision Tools and Measuring

Certifications: Forklift, if applicable Quality Metric: Scrap Dollars Rejected and/or reworked parts

Minimum Qualifications Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department. Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department. Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better. Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process Successful completion of introductory period (6 months) Understands, accepts, and supports vision and key business goals Supports and demonstrates a well-organized, safe and clean workplace Basic understanding, support and commitment to the team and continuous improvement Resolves the problems at the lowest level possible Identifies possible solutions when communicating problems Follows rules of conduct at all times Ability to learn, understand and adhere to standard work Understands the importance of safety, quality, delivery and cost Responsive to internal and external customer needs

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months) Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance: Press brakes, CNC punches, and laser machines. (* if applicable) Demonstrate ability to make proper adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment with assistance. Demonstrate ability to produce quality parts within acceptable scrap rate. Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department. Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).
