Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates the installation, maintenance, and repairs of all company machinery and equipment within the facility, including any maintenance or repairs of the building or property. The Maintenance Supervisor manages the hourly maintenance personnel in a safe, effective and efficient manner in compliance with the company policies, procedures and all legislative requirements.

Job duties include assessing and prioritizing work requests, following up on work orders, maintaining stock inventory, preparing manpower schedules, inspecting facility areas, attending production meetings, researching materials, focusing on error proofing and cost reductions, contacting outside contractors, championing new equipment, and more.

Requirements include a community college degree in a related field, five years in a mechanical/electrical capacity, highly motivated and independent work ethic, ability to comprehend and communicate instructions, multi-tasking and priority setting, knowledge of workplace compliance regulations, valid drivers license, alternative problem-solving skills, time and project management, sound judgment, cost control measures, flexibility, communication skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, software proficiency, supervisory skills, troubleshooting, conflict resolution, statistical process control, ISO TS14001 knowledge, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Work conditions may require 24/7 availability, physical ability to lift up to 75lb, travel to sites, use of safety equipment, overtime, exposure to hazards, and work both indoors and outdoors.
