Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU/PCU setting within a Critical Access Hospital, with the ability to float to Med/Surg as needed
• Identify patient and family education needs and deliver education using appropriate methods
• Maintain complete, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses throughout the assigned shift
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of physician orders, including 24-hour order checks as applicable to the assigned shift
• Report critical lab values to the physician in a timely manner per policy and communicate effectively with all departments during and at shift change
• Maintain and restock emergency carts and general supplies; implement infection control and isolation procedures using proper techniques and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN License (must be current and in good standing)
• Demonstrated experience in ICU, PCU, Telemetry, and/or Med/Surg nursing
• Knowledge of safe operation and basic troubleshooting of clinical equipment used in PCU/Telemetry/Med/Surg areas
• Proficiency in standard precautions, infection control procedures, and restraint policy compliance
• Ability to identify and implement patient safety measures including appropriate use of side rails, restraints, and safe equipment handling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) environment
• Comfort and flexibility with floating across ICU, PCU, and Med/Surg units as needed
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
