Sales Manager - Life Sciences

Develop and execute effective sales strategies using critical thinking and creative problem-solving Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture and encourage continuous learning Guide the team through market changes, new partnerships, and organizational shifts Set goals, track performance using Dynamics and Power BI, and recognize innovative approaches Develop annual regional plans with sales leaders to support North America goals Develop and coach Account Managers in consultative selling, technical knowledge, and relationship management Ensure compliance with work safe and drive safe standards Conduct monthly one-on-one business reviews with team members Travel with team members in their markets and join business reviews with top customers Support strategic partnerships and cross-divisional sales activities Coordinate account maintenance and support needs and resolve escalated issues Host weekly cadence calls to share learnings and align cross-functional teams Negotiate terms, pricing, and customer claims with large local accounts while building long-term relationships Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, chemistry, biology, fermentation science, or a related field 5 years of progressively increasing managerial responsibility in a sales and/or service organization Ability to travel domestically 50–75% of the time Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role Ideal candidate located near a major airport in the Northeast region of the United States Prior experience in the personal care industry 10 years of experience in a business-to-business field sales environment Demonstrated success in managing and motivating remote teams Master’s degree in business (preferred) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing sales strategies while fostering a collaborative team culture.
