Business Analyst II

Business Analyst II – Naperville, IL This position supports the design, development and execution of innovative analytic and research solutions to support the planning, program implementation, accounting and evaluation of energy efficiency programs. The role plays a versatile part that is highly analytical and will require the individual to blend the application of business, strategic, and design thinking with technology and quantitative / economic modeling methods to enable better data driven decision making. This individual is involved with completing complex analytical projects requiring the use of data analysis, data visualization, and statistical modeling techniques. The position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as program managers, commission staff, independent evaluators, and implementation vendors to accurately evaluate and measure energy savings. The role requires extensive collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders who are responsible for our residential and business programs, as well as assuring IT systems are modified to collect and track data, accounting and controls are updated, and ultimately the design allows for the programs and portfolio to pass cost benefit tests required under Illinois law. This position is located in Naperville, Illinois. Employees are required to be in the office (4) days per week. Responsibilities This role will be responsible for utilizing technical acumen, analytical capabilities, and collaborative skills to contribute to the Energy Efficiency portfolio and program success. This role will also ensure that delivered solutions are effective and align with the organization's strategic objectives and includes but is not limited to: Planning, Operations and Evaluation Analysis Data Analytics Requirements Job Level: Business Analyst II (GSE03) Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, mathematics, computer science, data analytics or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Prefer combined experience with utilities or other related experience; experience analyzing data and process improvement; demonstrated ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions; strong organizational skills with attention to detail; proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work; knowledge of business practices and trends within the natural gas industry, with a willingness to expand expertise in this area. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI; proficiency with business-related systems (e.g., SQL, VBA, Python, R, ArcGIS, etc.). #J-18808-Ljbffr Georgia Power Company
